Wilkinson Williams’ four strong investment team is one of the most
active and effective
in the out of town investment market. Over the course of the three year period
to the end of 2007, the team advised on the sale and purchase of approximately £3.5
billion retail investment properties in the out of town sector; this representing
a market share of 26%.
The main strengths of the team are:-
- a detailed and up to date knowledge of the trends and dynamics of the
underlying occupational markets, which is clearly key to investment performance;
- UK wide coverage, advising on transactions as far apart as the sale
of the Homebase in St Austell, Cornwall for Helical Bar, to the purchase
of a retail park in East Kilbride, Scotland for Hercules Income Fund;
- exposure to a wide range of lot sizes ranging from the sale of a
Homebase DIY unit at Blackpool for £4.4 million for Invista to
the sale of a half share in New Mersey Shopping Park for British
Land for £210 million; and
- experience in advising, negotiating and structuring complex and large
transactions.
