Wilkinson Williams acted for private property company vendors in the sale of the Homebase and Carpetright units to Aberdeen Asset Management for a price of £11 million. The development totals some 54,500 sq ft and is let on leases to Carpetright and Homebase with 17 and 10 years unexpired respectively. Passing rents are £17.50 per sq ft for Carpetright and £12.00 per sq ft for Homebase.
The price reflected a net initial yield of 6.25%.
