CIT sells retail park in Exeter

Wilkinson Williams has acted for CIT in the sale of the Exeter Retail Park to Aviva Investors Pensions for a price of £40.218 million. This retail park was constructed in 1992 and extends to approximately 110,000 sq ft, with occupiers being Currys, Pets At Home, Harveys, Staples, Carpetright, Argos, Brantano, Comet and McDonalds at an average rent of £25.76 per sq ft. The purchaser acquired the long leasehold in the park for a price reflecting a net initial yield of approximately 6.68%.
