Retail park sold in Swansea

Land Securities has sold the Pontardulais Road Retail Park in Swansea to a private investor. The retail park was subject to a major redevelopment/refurbishment programme in 2004 and provides approximately 80,000 sq ft of accommodation. Occupiers include M&S Simply Food, Dreams, Carpetright, Pets At Home, Laura Ashley and Currys. The purchaser paid a price of £14 million, reflecting a net initial yield of approximately 9%. Wilkinson Williams acted for the purchaser.
