Hercules Unit Trust sells Cortonwood

Hercules Unit Trust, represented by Wilkinson Williams, has sold the long leasehold interest in the Cortonwood Shopping Park, Cortonwood, Barnsley to the Kirkham Family Trust for an estimated price of £41.85 million, reflecting a net initial yield of 7.76%. This highly successful shopping destination comprises a retail park occupied by B&Q, Sports Direct, Boots, Next, Argos, Matalan, Pizza Hut and McDonald's. Rents range from £11.00 per sq ft to £28.00 per sq ft, with a number of rent reviews outstanding.
