British Land sell in Hemel Hempstead

Acting on behalf of British Land, Wilkinson Williams has sold the freehold interest in the London Road Retail Park, Hemel Hempstead to Threadneedle Property Fund. The purchaser paid a price of £9.662 million, reflecting a net initial yield of 8.75%. The property extends to 36,000 sq ft and is let to Halfords, Staples and Pets at Home at rents between £21.60 and £25.75 per sq ft. The property has a bulky goods planning consent.
