The Junction have sold the freehold interest in the Great Western Retail Park for £58.5 million. This scheme extends to 184,785 sq ft and is let to B&Q, Currys, SCS, Allied Carpets, Harveys, Comet, Carpetright, JJB Sports, Pizza Hut and Burger King. Rents range between £13.88 and £27.50 per sq ft and the development has a bulky goods consent. The purchase price reflects a net initial yield in the region of 5.75%, however, the purchaser benefitted from acquiring property within a structure which reduced purchasers costs so that their initial yield of 6.00%.
