British Land sell vacant B&Q in Chadwell Heath

British Land have sold the premises formerly occupied by B&Q on Whalebone Lane, Chadwell Heath to Land Securities for a price of £11.1 million. The property provides a gross internal area of approximately 49,239 sq ft and is let to B&Q on a lease to 2014 at current rents of £652,032 per annum, equating to £13.24 per sq ft.

The property was sold prior to auction with Wilkinson Williams and Allsop acting for British Land.
