In early 2007, Wilkinson Williams gave advice to Land Securities with regard to a potential sale of the White City Retail Park, extending to approximately 185,000 sq ft.
Our advice was to progress with the marketing as soon as possible, as there was still active investor requirements, particularly from those who would seek to benefit from the scheme's open non food planning consent.
A full marketing campaign was initiated, however, Wilkinson Williams' advice was to accept an early bid for the property from a major private investor, who swiftly concluded a transaction for a price in excess of the quoting terms of £84.7 million.
